It's All Over Now........

Today was the girls' last day of school. We're all ready to PARTY around here.!!!!!

For the next three months, there will be:

1. No schedule at all
2. No bedtime routine
3. No discussing homework
4. No e-mailing teachers
5. No rushing to get out the door so early in the mornings
6. Defintely late sleepers around here
7. More work hours for the teenager at her new found job
8. Long weekend visits to Grandma's house
9. Less IRONING to do

Last but not least, there will be more relaxed parents around here because life just won't be so chaotic. lol!!! This comment may not be funny to some, but seriously, it's just stressful trying to keep everyone on a daily routine and a schedule intact.

ANYWHO......

Here's a couple of pictures of the girls that I took before they left for school this morning. I was able to get a picture with Jae, but the teenager thought one taken of her and Jae together was enough. So, I couldn't get her to take a picture with her momma!

I hope that you all have a fabulous weekend!

Girl, I feel the same way!!! My little one has summer school, so I still have to get up, but I can go back to sleep for a little while, knowing that I don't have to drive my oldest to Cosmetology! Now I just have to find some things to keep them busy!

Love the pictures! So pretty!!!

Be Blessed!

Hi Daphine
We are so jealous. We don't finish for the summer until the end of July! Then we only get 6 weeks off.
The pictures are beautiful. I love the top you are wearing. It's gorgeous.
Have a great weekend and a wonderful summer and think of us all still at school!!!

I'm a high school English teacher, and I can attest that we look forward to summer too! This year, though, I am teaching summer school until the end of July and taking two grad classes. It will be fun!

I get one week off in August before I start taking professional development workshops. That week will definitely be relaxing.

God bless!

I am so with you on this. My children's official last day will be on June 9th (my b'day, Yeah!!).

I am looking forward to just taking it easy and doing whatever without worrying about getting up so early the next morning only to break my neck rushing out the door.

Yay for the last day! It hit me today that Bo's last day of school was the LAST DAY in our school system! Wow...both boys have gone through. NO MORE field trips, NO MORE PTA, NO MORE homework, NO MORE report cards, NO MORE calls to the school board office (they probably have a file on me - LOL)...it's hard to believe!

Your pictures are awesome. Hope you have a great summer!

What great shot you all took. I know about being excited for school to be out. Madison had a two week break and it was great. No getting up early in the morning, fight with her while she is still sleepy and hungry. But it was short lived, she was only out for 2 weeks, back to the stress.
