Thankful Thursday ~ Blog Friends

Hello to all of you! First, let me apologize to you for not commenting or being in touch most of yesterday and all of today. Many of you know how faithful I am in reading and commenting on your blog. I have LOTS to read and will definitely be commenting.

I don't want post too much more about the outcome of the election, but I do want to share this verse before I post about my Thankful Thursday. Someone shared this verse in our bible study class tonight and after seeking and searching the Bible myself for a verse to bring me some peace, this one definitely did!

1 Timothy 1-3: "I urge, then, first of all, that requests, prayers, intercession and thanksgiving be made for everyone - for kings and all those in authority, that we may live peaceful and quiet lives in all godliness and holiness. This is good, and pleases God our Savior."

Now with that being said, I would also like to let each of you who read and take the time to comment on my blog know that I am thankful for your friendship.

Some of you have been very faithful in reading my blog for many months. Some of you for only a few weeks. In any case, I am thankful.

I truly enjoy and look forward to reading ALL of your blogs daily. I feel that each of you bring something very different, but encouraging, into my life on a daily basis and for that, I am thankful that our paths have crossed.

For stories and ideas that you have shared about your marriage, your children, your jobs, cooking recipes, sewing, decorating, how to do a simple craft, etc., I am thankful.

I was only gone from blogland for a couple of days and after returning back home tonight from Bible study and with a clear mind, I now sense a little void in my world......being out of touch with my blogging friends!!!! I am thankful that I have blogging friends to miss.

I hope that God continues to use our experiences in life to encourage and bless each other while we're having all this fun blogging together!!!!

Maybe one day there will be a Blogland Convention somewhere and we could gather at one place and meet! LOL!

I'm back! Aren't you happy!?!?!?!?

Seriously, I am truly THANKFUL for you ladies!!!!

I LOVE it : ). What a great thing to be thankful for! I was just saying at our Bible study tonight what a blessing my blog friends are! A true blessing! I am learning so much, and praying so much more, because of the women I am befriending in blog land : ). I am thankful too! I like the idea of Thankful Thursday. What a good idea! There are SO many things we need to be thankful for! Have a wonderful Thursday! God bless.

Oh my goodnes..if you look at my blog (when you have time of course), I used that exact same verse in regards to the election. Like you, I didn't get into it, but I felt like that verse pertains to what is going on now!

Anywho..I loved your post, and I'm finding myself really looking forward to updates from everyone on my Blogroll (yours included). I think this is a great outlet, and a way to encourage and get encouragement from women all around the world! God bless you! Alicia

Thanks Daphine!! I am glad that you also found a verse to give some peace. I feel everything will be alright.

Blogging for me has been a blessing too. I don't have a lot of friends here in the real world but I sure have met some great ones here in blogland. I think there should be a blog convention. I would definitely be there!

First of all, you've won an award, my friend!! Hope on over to my blog and check it out!

Thank you, since it is Thankful Thursday, for your kind words. Believe me, the feelings are quite mutual. I so appreciate getting to know you and my other blogging buddies. You all have come to mean a lot to me and I never realized that could happen in a place called Blogland. It's truly amazing the kinds of connections you can make with people.

Thank you, Daphine, for always helping me work through my issues, for your understanding, and for your faithful and giving heart. You're a "keeper" in my book! Have a blessed Thursday!

Hey, Sweet Friend!

I've MISSED hanging out here with you! Man, having no internet STINKS!

I loved your "TT" list. I noticed in it that you said you didn't want to say too much more about the election.. I was wonderin if you posted anything specific on it? I was thinking about it, but you know, someone on either side might get their feathers ruffled. My thinking?? I just WISH our country was as concerned with the WILL of the ALMIGHTY as they are about the economy! It's so sad to see how far this CHRISTIAN nation has moved away from GOD. Truthfully, I'm glad it's all over. Now, we just PRAY that GOD will lead and instruct all government leaders and that HE'LL bestow GRACE on us even though we deserve his WRATH. (Do you know that I heard that among the "major issues" on the ballot in CA were, homosexual marriage, abortion, and the RIGHTS OF FARM ANIMALS) Did you catch that??? FARM ANIMALS??? Please, tell me it isn't so??? Are we more concerned about ANIMALS than we are human life????

I hate to sound so negative, it just breaks my heart that the people of this great land don't seem to care what's right. They only want what THEY want...

Okay, I'll stop. I could go on about that all day. LOL!!

Thanks SO MUCH for the sweet comments. You're a TRUE BLESSING to "be around". =-)

LOVE YOU!

I am seeing and hearing that verse everywhere. God is impressing His people to pray for our leaders as He commanded. Good reminder!
