Vacation Bound Friends...

This week the girls are on Spring Break!

Dirk and I have taken the rest of the week off to spend some extra time with them. Well, as much as the teenager will allow. lol!

We just plan on staying in town. We have a couple of family days planned, but that's about it.....very low key. This is my kind of vacation baby! I am actually looking forward to NOT having a full schedule of soooooooooooooooo many things to do.

I feel like a silly teenager.....I CAN STAY UP AS LATE AS I WANNA! And I'm GONNA!

As I am typing, it is just after midnight. Here's what's going on at our house...three of us are chillin' in the gameroom.

One of us is playing NCAA football on Xbox. One of us is blogging. And the last little munchkin of this group is playing the piano at almost 12:30 in the morning. Oh! And the teenager????? She's in the office talking on the phone to her boyfriend! I am quite sure if you read my blog often enough, you have named each person and know exactly who is doing what.

I tell ya, we plan on ENJOYING this for a few days!

I know that many of you are out on Spring Break, too! I hope that you're enjoying your week as well.

Oh enjoy it D as it will be gone so fast. Taylor had her Spring Break last week and so we took some days off to just do family stuff around here and it was so much fun. Watching movies like High School Musical 3 while eating popcorn late into the night... so much fun for the kids, and what was even funner for me and carey was watching them tryiong to keep thier eyes open. Good times I tell ya. Ow we also took them to the zoo one day, the Houston Livestock show and Rodeo another, and then just to the park to blow bubbles another day.

Enjoy the time with your family!

Love and Prayers,

Tim

Don't you just love Spring Break? To me, there is nothing better than having time to spend together as a family without a strict schedule to follow. I hope you all have tons of fun and make lots of lasting memories!

Brittany and Abby aren't on Spring Break until the first week of April, then we'll be Colorado bound! I'm both excited and nervous! I jusr want to be able to make it down the hill in one piece! LOL! Oh, what have I gotten myself into?

Enjoy your time off, Daphine! Sending you a big hug!

Big big hugs to you and your precious family!

Love it! Isn't vacation grand??? It's the little things in life, like spending time together goofing, that make life so much richer. They are actually the BIG things when you think about it.

Have a blast!

XO,

Sheila :-)

Hi You have a very sweet blog.I was looking at the post below and All in all ,I think you are a wonderful Mom.And its nice to get comforted by your own child once in awhile.BTW...I'm more afraid of small yapie dogs than big dogs.I always had Rottweillers.None of the six I've had were mean or yapie. All loveable big puppies. Its how you raise them. But you should never trust any dog you don't know.I'll vist again soon.Hugs Marie Antionette

What a great sounding spring break. We are enjoying this nice weather, too! It is nice being at home just kickin' back. The kids are loving it. This is much better than dealing with crowds and suitcases! Keep having fun.

I am with you on the low key vacation concept. To tell you the truth, it seems like the low key vacations, with a few family days planned of course, are the most relax, more fun, and not so intense with worrying about a schedule.

You just kind of go with the flow. I hope you enjoy the rest of your family vacation. Blessings to you and your family!!

That's my kind of vacation! I am taking a few days off soon for my birthday and Ivy's b-day (and to clean the house for her party!). This is the best time of year to relax! It is finally warm here in Indiana :) You Texans don't know how lucky you have it!
