Photography by Morgan

Many of you wanted to see some of Morgan's work using our new Photoshop program. For each picture, I have posted the original taken and then the exact same picture with her using Photoshop. Personally, I like the original pictures better, but Morgan has made it very clear to me that I know nothing about having a photographer's eye. Anyhow, she picked out some of her favorite ones that she wanted me to share with you.

The is a picture of baby birds that were living in a wreath on our front door. Morgan would go out and take pictures of them every day until they eventually got big enough to fly away. She shared this one with her Photo Journalism class and her teacher just raved over it. Okay, I didn't get it. But, again....I don't have the "photgrapher's eye" according to Morgan. lol! Note that these are not necessarily improvements in every case, just an attempt to explore the program.

This was sitting on one of the table at a close friend's wedding. Morgan thought it would brighten up the picture if she added a drop of water to the rose petal. It actually turned out pretty good, huh?

This was taken in our front yard.
This was taken at our neighborhood park.

This was taken at the Dallas Arboretum.
This was taken at another wedding we attended. This is one of my favorites.

And another wedding that we attended. Beautiful couple!! Morgan was taking more pictures than the hired professional photographer was taking. lol!

Okay, so you may be asking like I did, "what was changed with Photoshop in this second picture?" Look at the first picture again...see the the window pane appears to be coming out of the bride's head. With using Photoshop, Morgan was able to go in and take the window pane completely out. Isn't that neat?
I LOVE THIS ONE!!!! How beautiful, huh?

This is what our Morgan is up to with Photoshop. She definitely has talent with photography and has big dreams to hopefully use it one day.

Daphine,

Morgan definitely has a talent for photography. She really needs to stick with it. I take A LOT of pictures, but I've never used Photoshop, though I've heard a lot about it. I think I'm going to check it out.

Tell Morgan to keep up the great work!! I really love the pictures of the wedding. Very nice! :)

She needs to start working on her resume. Ask her if she is available for Christmas? I am very impressed!! She has a gift!! I love the wedding pictures. I am very prejudiced because she is niece, but I bet she did a better job than the professional. Great Job!!

What a gift! That is so wonderful. She definitely has a gift for photography and seeing the beauty in the ordinary. But she also has an incredible gift of parents who support and encourage her. Keep sharing photos. They are each a blessing.

These are really good! It's so great that you encourage her photography aspirations. I love to take photos myself. It's a great hobby and it allows you to look at the world a little differently.

Be sure to tell Morgan all your blogger friends think she is very talented.

All I can say is amazing. I don't have the photographer's eye or anything else for that matter. (I thought the "original pictures" were perfect!) You go, Morgan....use that talent for the Lord in a big way!

Your Morgan is very talented! I love the one of the baby birds. We had some that hatched in a topiary on our back porch, but sadly, they did not survive a neighborhood cat burglary! I wanted to take pictures until they flew away, too! Thank you for watching the videos at my nest...and for the inspiration! The first song is "That's What Love Is" by David Phelps. I thought it was fitting, too.

Neato pictures. The picture of wedding hands that are Photo Shopped remind me of the Matrix movie!
