Top 10 Truths...No Matter Who Wins The Election:

I have been a little more on edge (nervous like) about this election than in previous ones. I received an email from a friend a couple of weeks ago that I wanted to share, but for several reasons I decided not to. I just printed the email and laid it on my desk at home.

Well, after getting into the office today and opening my email, I received this same exact email two more times TODAY!! It was totally clear to me at that moment that I needed to post it. So, here goes:

Top 10 Truths... No Matter Who Wins The Election:

1. The Bible will still have all the answers.
2. Prayer will still work.
3. The Holy Spirit will still move.
4. God will still inhabit the praises of His people.
5. There will still be God-anointed preaching.
6. There will still be singing of praise to God.
7. God will still pour out blessings upon His people.
8. There will still be room at the Cross.
9. Jesus will still love you.
10. Jesus will still save the lost.

And God approves this message.

ISN'T IT GREAT TO KNOW WHO IS STILL IN CONTROL?

I don't know about you, but I keep having to REMIND myself of this each day.

Wow, I loved that!!!! I've been a bit bothered about this election as well.....it's so good to be reminded that, no matter what the outcome, God will still have the victory in the end! Praise God!!!

Daphine,
I have never wanted to involve politics in my blog. My blog is my "feel good" place. However, poor Bryan has to hear my fears on this election on a daily basis. My Dad and I got into a conversation about it last Friday. My Mother spoke up and said to us that God is in control no matter what, so just let it go. Since then I have felt a lot better. I love the email you posted it reaffirms who the real man in charge is.

Amen, Sister-Friend!! How good and comforting to know that God is in control...always has been and will continue to be! So, let worry fall by the wayside and trust that God is at work...His will be done. :)

Just this morning I was reading Daniel 4, reflecting on His everlasting dominion. Indeed, before God all men are nothing and He will accomplish His will on earth for the sake of His everlasting kingdom and glory.

Totally agree..great reminder!!! But, with that Christians need to speak out not only at election time but all the time.

I am not crazy about either candidates!

I agree with Liz about blog and politics, however, I have two posts ready for Friday and Monday that are political...still dont' know what I am going to do:)

i've seen this one going around too. yes, God is in control but at the same time this country has done nothing but push him aside and try to get him out of everything. And the same people wonder why there's so much bad stuff happening. You can only push someone aside for so long before they "step" aside and let you see what its like with out them. God's a gentleman and will leave if he's not wanted. He's done it to Israel in the past, so I believe he's doing it to us right now. Take prayer out of school, federal buildings, trying to remove it from money, etc. Christmas isn't allowed, but Happy Holidays is, you name it. Not to mention that I think we've got a lot of answering to do for the millions of babies we kill, and various other topics I will not get into. With that said, God WILL still inhabit HIS people , but he'll remove his hand of grace from our country, which is what I believe is happening right now.
Well, I think that was enough for one morning. I do not wish to offend anyone, I just had something I needed to say. I love my country and I love my God, OUR God, it's just so sad to how things are right now and people just don't get it. They just won't open their arms and accept Jesus Christ as their savior. If they only knew what was on the other side if they did.

That is what I am holding on to. I am not nervous, but at peace...knowing that God is the alpha and omega and He wrote the book, so he knows the end. I haven't seen this email, so thank you for posting. Thanks for the visit to my blog.

Oh wow, this made me cry but I'm a big crier...hahaha, seriously this touches my heart because I've been so nervous about this election.

Most of the people that I know my age are supporting Obama and I am sorry to admit that I've been fearful but you are right, God will love and protect me no matter what.

Leaving this body behind is joyous because heaven bound there I go!

: )

Thanks for posting this blog!
