You've Gotta See This For Yourself

Our bible class recently went to see the movie, "Fireproof." If you don't go see any other movie for the rest of the year, make sure you go see this one. It will not only move you to tears, but there's a lot of laughter too and a lot of reminders for all of us whether we're married or not. It was truly a blessing to see this. I don't want to give too much detail about the movie and spoil it for anyone.

Take a look at this clip.

I heard earlier in the week that "Fireproof" ranked #8 and I thought that was pretty good. Right before posting this, I checked the Movies Top Box Office and it is now ranked at #4.

It'll be worth your time to go see it.

My girls went with me to see it when Chris was out of town and we'd gone to the mall for a "Girl's Day Out". We all loved it! Of course, I think I was more moved by it, just because I'm the one who's married. I did glance over at them a time or two and they both had tears in their eyes. They're softies, just like their mom!

I really hope that Chris and I get a chance to see it together. It will be hard to find the time, now that he's traveling on business, again. I just think everyone should see it. It speaks volumes about love, marriage, and faith. Glad you got to see it!

Good morning Daphine,

I posted a little while back about this movie on one of my Thankful Thursday posts, but I don't think we had met yet.

Kirk Cameron went to school and graduated with my sister, Candy. Just a little fun fact.

Also, did you know he has made such a strong stand in his commitment and vows to his wife, Chelsea, that he will never kiss another woman, even for a movie. The directors allowed his wife to put a wig on and stand in for the actress for the kissing scene.

How awesome is that! Now that's commitment and honor! And I say thank you, Lord, for men who take that kind of stand and for this movie!

Blessings to you today, sweet sister!
