WHEN YOUR COMPUTUER IS BROKEN! lol!
Yep, my laptop is broken! I have to take it in tomorrow. I have no idea what is wrong with it, but I can not get it to come on at all. Thank God that it is still under warranty.
I will have very limited access to a computer this week. I am using Dirk's computer now, but it's not as cozy and comfortable in the office or on the computer upstairs as it is in the living room when I am blogging! I've gotten spoiled and I guess too lazy to use the computer in any other place.
What a stinking bummer!!!!!
I will catch up with you all when I can.

oh no---not the laptop! I know what you mean by all cozy & comfy. I don't like using the desktop...feel to restricted. I think us bloggers are spoiled by the laptops :) Hoping they can fix your sidekick in a hurry. Looking forward to seeing more pictures from your daughter.
p.s. there's something waiting for you on my blog for when you get back to posting!! :o)
Aww, man...I am so bummed, Daphine! It's the pits when your computer goes on the blink, isn't it? So sorry to hear the news...please hurry back...we'll miss you!
Oh Daphine I'm sorry! Thank goodness for the warranty though. I'll miss you til you're up and running again!

Sorry to hear about your laptop Daphine. Hope it is something simple that can be easily mended.
Lindsay
well if it can't be fixed, maybe Santa will bring you a new one for Christmas!
Daphine,
Where did you take your computer? Christy, works on computers, she fixed my computer and Bill's laptop, and we have not had a problem. She really hooked us up. You know she does that for a living, so she pretty awesome, she put things on there such as:virus protection, updated games, and pretty much everything else. I am sure you won't charge you an arm and a leg.
Blessings,
Vickie
I'll be praying for you (LOL). My in-law still has dial up. I was going crazy waiting for it to download a webpage.
Here's to a quick recovery.

I know what you mean about laptops. I love mine. However, I know I would get a lot more done if I would turn it off once in awhile. I am not a TV person in the day. It is a great invention!

I was wondering what happened to you!!!!!
Bummers, man! I hope it gets fixed speedily, and cheapily!!! LOL
Sorry your laptop is broken! I've gotten so used to using the desktop that I feel a little strange when I type on the laptop...lol, so I understand what you are saying, just in reverse...hahahaha!
Hey Girl,
So glad you were able to touch base today...do so as often as you can! I hope your computer gets fixed soon!
Alright, so you would have to ask me how to add a signature at the end of your posts! Do you know that I sat at this computer yesterday for about 3 hours trying to figure it all out and I finally got it! Now, I just hope I can help you out. Here goes nothing...
1. Click on my signature and it will take you to the site where you create your own signature. Just follow the instructions; it's completely free.
2. Once you've created your signature, click on the line that reads "Use this signature?"
3. You will, then, generate an HTML code for your signature; copy that code.
4. Go to your dashboard, click on Settings, then Formatting and scroll down where it says "Post Template". In that big empty box, paste your HTML signature code and hit "Save Settings" at the bottom. Now, your signature will show everytime you post.
5. Be sure to post ABOVE the HTML code in your posts, otherwise, your signature will show at the top.
6. If you don't want your posts to read, "Posted by Daphine", along with your signature, just go to Layout, then Page Elements. Click on "Edit" blog post. Uncheck the box that says "Posted by".
Oh, I hope this helps, my friend. If not, let me know and I'll do my very best to help you out!
Daphine,
We miss ya ~ but we will be here waiting for you when you get it all fixed!
((hugs)) to you!
Daphine!
I'm so glad you wrote on my blog, and that you are able to get online still (even though it's not as comfy)!!
Congrats on the Christmas Spirit Award too! I was going to send it to you as well but noticed she beat me to the punch!!!
